We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and retail sales, with the ability to engage customers effectively and promote our products. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping environment, assisting customers with their needs, and driving sales through exceptional service. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering. Assist in merchandising products to enhance visibility and appeal on the sales floor. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing inventory. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support. Utilize basic math skills for transactions and retail math calculations. Maintain phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone. Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base.
