Title: Sales Associate

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm M-F in office, some flexibility when needed

Salary: $50k-$60k

Location: Cortland, OH

Sales Associate Role:

Our client is seeking to hire a motivated candidate for an available Sales Associate position at their Cortland, OH facility. The candidate will report directly to the Sales Manager. This position will require a detail-oriented/technically analytical candidate to assist with day-to-day operations and duties.

Sales Associate Responsibilities:

  • Order Entry
  • Quotations per customer specifications
  • Job/Product Costing
  • Customer communications including: RFQ's, delivery updates/reconciliation, customer complaints/quality control, project management, maintenance of new and existing customer accounts
  • Cross-Department coordination/collaboration (Engineering, Purchasing, Production, etc.)

About you:

  • Electrical Engineering Classes or technical/electrical industrial sales experience preferred
  • Must have valid Driver's License
  • Attention to detail is paramount for success in this position; fast-paced office environment
  • Ability to multitask while remaining accurate/detail-oriented is critical
  • Effective communication skills (phone/email/face-to-face)
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical specifications and drawings

Additional Info:

  • Travel Requirements: As-needed (approximately 20% outside travel to customer sites)
  • Expense reimbursement/driving mileage reimbursement is provided by company
