Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling protocols. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment through effective merchandising. Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Utilize retail math skills to manage pricing, discounts, and inventory calculations. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Experience in retail sales with a focus on customer satisfaction. Familiarity with basic math principles for cash handling and inventory management. Proficiency in using POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Supervising experience is a plus for potential leadership opportunities. Ability to conduct engaging product demos that resonate with customers. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base. Knowledge of merchandising techniques that enhance product visibility. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. A background in grocery store operations is advantageous but not required.
