We are seeking a motivated and personable Sales Associate to join our team. This role begins as part-time with the potential to transition into a full-time position (with benefits) based on performance. You'll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our customers while supporting the day-to-day operations of our boutique. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining the overall presentation of the store. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service, guiding clients through fine jewelry selections with warmth and expertise. Build relationships with customers by understanding their needs, celebrating their milestones, and creating repeat business. Assist with daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and merchandising. Maintain product knowledge across all jewelry lines (14K, 18K, 24K, sterling silver, gemstones, custom orders, etc.). Support sales goals through clienteling, upselling, and event participation. Handle transactions accurately and maintain a professional and welcoming store environment. Assist with social media content, in-store events, and local marketing initiatives when needed. Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Handle customer inquiries professionally over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Requirements Previous retail or sales experience preferred (jewelry experience a plus). Passion for fine jewelry and an eagerness to learn product knowledge. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and special events. A keen interest in merchandising and maintaining store aesthetics is beneficial.
