This role focuses on helping customers choose the right vehicle by building relationships and understanding their true needs. What You Will Do – Essential Responsibilities

Use your knowledge of CarMax inventory to assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs

Guide customers every step of the way, from sale or appraisal to test drives and arranging financing applications

Complete all relevant records and documentation to ensure smooth transactions for our customers

Learn and succeed as part of a team in a high-energy sales environment. Auto sales experience is not necessary – CarMax provides paid training and a personal sales mentor to support ongoing development.

Qualifications And Requirements

Sales and customer service experience, in an area such as retail, is preferred

Good listening skills and a strong customer focus

High level of self-motivation

Benefits and Pay Details The hourly rate for this position is $17.88 - $20.00 , with incentives and bonuses eligible in California. CarMax offers paid sick, vacation, and holiday time. Details vary by full-time/part-time status and tenure.

Full-time associates: paid sick time (up to 48 hours per year) and vacation time (depending on years of service), plus paid holidays and floating holidays

Salaried full-time employees: paid time off as needed subject to manager approval
