Responsibilities: Provide outstanding service to determine customer’s overall flooring & design needs Build strong lasting relationships and follow up with all clients. Schedule client consultation appointments within the showroom or at the client’s home Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services provided Review space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed, create/present project proposals, and perform quality control throughout project Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications and availability Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean
Desired Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years’ proven work experience in Retail Sales, Flooring Sales, Interior Design, Customer Service, or similar role Valid driver’s license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED) Must pass background check & drug test (REQUIRED) Basic computer, social media and math skills (REQUIRED) Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability Strong personal and professional judgment Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority Advanced time management skills and detailed oriented Ability to achieve sales goals effectively Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train) Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
