Job Title: Sales Development Professional Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to promote our products and services by building relationships with new and existing accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business, penetrating existing accounts, and minimizing lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within assigned territory. This includes seeking and qualifying prospects, researching customer business needs, and recommending products to meet those needs. Our sales representative will also provide product information and practical training to customer personnel, communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, and manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department. A bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or related discipline is required. Additionally, we require 3 years of Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales experience or equivalent relatable experience including completion of a Sysco Sales Internship. Required skills include strong communication skills, basic PC skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Building trust, loyalty, follow-up, sales ability/persuasiveness, managing work, adaptability, and communication are essential competencies for this role.
