We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sales leader to fill the role of Sales Director for the Southern regions of the US. (This position is open to candidates across the Southern regions of the USA). Duties and Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets. Create and communicate sales goals and ensure senior leadership is informed on the progress or challenges to those goals. Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with sales representatives and customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs. Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals. Coordinate with internal stakeholders across function to maximize customer satisfaction and growth opportunities. Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets. Travel as required throughout the Territory, visiting current and prospective customers. Participate in industry events, trade shows, supplier summits, etc. as required. Manage time effectively and report activity using the companys systems. Required skills and qualifications 5 years Sales Management experience required. Minimum 5-7 years sales experience required, in the printed flexible packaging industry. College diploma (ideally in business, commerce, or science) strongly preferred, or extensive sales management, business development and sales experience required. Demonstrated successful sales experience with success meeting or exceeding company targets. Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work within teams and cooperate with others effectively; able to take direction and comply with company policies.
