The Sales Director is a front-line sales leader responsible for executing the commercial sales strategy to achieve profitable growth within a geographic area, overseeing general and specialized laboratory sales and service representatives. This is a field-based sales leadership position. Responsibilities: Hire and retain an effective sales team of Account Executives and Account Managers Coach, motivate, and develop sales talent Establish regional action plans and market strategies Set metrics and accountability standards to drive performance towards goals Manage and measure sales force performance and provide feedback to representatives Conduct district analytics and gather market intelligence Marshal and manage resources to solve problems and achieve plans Support key account development Contribute to regional marketing efforts Candidates can be located in the vicinity of Concord, CA, including Modesto, Stockton, and the surrounding areas Accountabilities/Metrics: Development and execution of sales plans Achievement of sales quotas (retention and growth) Client attrition rates Price realization Selling costs Sales force attrition Talent development targets (pipeline, hiring, training) Qualifications: Required Work Experience: Team leadership - 3+ years managing direct reports Healthcare sales experience Knowledge: Understanding of the healthcare industry (payors/providers) and general business economics Skills: Solid PC skills including Outlook, Excel, Salesforce.com, SAVO Education: Bachelor's Degree required 42172 Quest Diagnostics honors our service members and encourages veterans to apply.
