Wright Technical Services is seeking a Sales Engineer for a client in the machine tool sector. This role focuses on driving profitable sales of company products within a designated territory through continuous outreach and relationship building.
Responsibilities:
Strategically plan and organize territory coverage. Schedule client visits based on priorities and travel efficiency.
Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate the completion of quotes and proposals.
Provide product demonstrations and address customer issues, ensuring satisfaction and effective use of equipment.
Maintain detailed records of activities and report on sales progress and challenges.
Collaborate with service teams to resolve customer concerns and enhance sales strategies.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills to effectively discuss technical product features with customers.
Proven sales experience with a track record of closing deals.
Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Saleslogix and SAP is a plus.
Ambitious, with a focus on developing new business opportunities.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant sales experience.
Prior experience in machine tools is a plus.
Ability to strategize and expand sales territories is essential.
