Hybrid ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS - Austin, TX; San Francisco, CA; New York, NY About The Role We\'re partnering with a client in the cloud security industry that\'s looking to add a Sales Engineer to their growing go-to-market team. In this role, you\'ll work alongside Account Executives to handle technical discovery, deliver tailored demos, and guide prospects through proof-of-concepts. The Sales Engineer will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise buyers, helping them connect technical capabilities to business outcomes and compliance requirements. This is a hybrid pre-sales role based in one of the listed metro areas, with a strong focus on identity security, cloud workload protection, and threat detection. You don\'t need to be a developer, but you should be hands-on in customer environments and comfortable explaining security trade-offs to both technical teams and executives. What You\'ll Do Support the sales process from discovery through close in partnership with Account Executives. Lead product demos and technical deep-dives across: Identity & Access Management (IAM) - SSO, MFA, lifecycle management. Cloud Security (CNAPP/CSPM) - securing workloads across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform. Threat Detection (SIEM/XDR) - log ingestion, detection rules, incident response workflows. Build and manage customer proof-of-concepts (POCs) that demonstrate value quickly. Translate technical features into compliance and audit benefits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, NIST). Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams. Stay current on security trends, cloud architectures, and regulatory changes. What We\'re Looking For 3+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting, ideally with a cybersecurity vendor. Hands-on expertise in at least one of the following: IAM (Okta, Ping, Azure AD), CNAPP/CSPM (Prisma, Wiz, Orca), or SIEM/XDR (Splunk, Chronicle, Elastic, Cortex). Strong grasp of modern enterprise infrastructure (cloud, containers, SaaS integrations). Ability to connect product features to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP). Excellent presentation skills with both technical engineers and executives. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
