Sales Executive
to join our Dry Desk Team. This is a remote position within the US. Responsibilities
Drive sales and profitability in alignment with the strategic plan and the procurement and sales of products to the customer base. Ensure quality sourcing and sales, customer satisfaction, opportunity and risk assessment, departmental improvements, and information exchange with other sales and commodity traders. Work in close collaboration with the commercial and financial departments. Suggest new trade opportunities and product development. Keep track of international market developments and results; propose corrective action plans as needed. Assess customer payment risks and ensure optimal customer satisfaction. Handle product complaints from customers. Define all quality aspects towards product providers and customers (buying/selling on contract basis or otherwise). Follow product specifications as defined by the quality department and adhere to instructions from the QA Manager. All other duties as assigned. Ensure all suppliers meet supplier approval with the Quality Assurance Manager. Ensure effective safety procedures, tools, and record-keeping are managed through site leadership; adhere to GMPs, safety procedures, and all other quality processes. Wear PPE when required. Qualifications
B.A. in Business Management, Marketing, International Trade, Agriculture, or related field preferred. At least 5 years of experience in sales, international trade, or a comparable function. Strong working knowledge of the import/export environment. Successful customer service experience. Working knowledge of ERP systems. Proficiency with MS Office. Proven communication skills – verbal and written. Experience finding prospects, turning prospects into leads, and leads into customers’ preferred outcomes; demonstrated ability to build rapport and durable relationships. Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in ambiguous situations; capable of solving challenging problems, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines; able to work with minimal direction. Benefits
