Responsibilities
Execute sales action plans for corporate accounts as outlined in the hotels marketing strategy.
Conduct daily sales visits, initiate site inspections, and arrange familiarization trips for corporate clients.
Aggressively source and develop new business opportunities in assigned market segments.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while promoting leads for other Shangri-La properties.
Represent the hotel at trade shows and events related to corporate markets, reporting market trends and insights.
Ensure timely and accurate updates in Delphi and maintain a detailed trace system for all accounts.
Coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery for VIPs and corporate groups.
Participate in sales meetings, pre/post-conference briefings, and contribute ideas for revenue and service improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in Hotel Management or related discipline, Degree is an advantage.
12 years of experience in hotel sales or corporate business development.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow up on tasks proactively.
Pleasant personality with a flexible and professional approach to guests and colleagues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel CRM tools such as Delphi.
Willing to travel for sales calls, events, and work on flexible schedules as needed.
