Sales Fellow (Remote) – Technology & Telecom (Veterans + First Responders Cohort)

This is a remote position. MISSION Prepare the next generation of veterans, first responders, and their families to lead in the tech sales sector. This first-of-its-kind national cohort is part of a 90-day tactical training program hosted by TAVS USA—a nonprofit committed to empowering mission-driven leaders with real-world experience, certification, and direct-to-career placement opportunities.
Training is delivered by current industry leaders from Comcast , providing participants with cutting-edge insight and access to real-world sales strategies from one of the nation’s top telecom providers.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Complete Tactical Sales Training: Attend live instruction and self-paced modules weekly; complete all assessments and exercises in IT, telecom systems, and B2B sales strategy—guided by Comcast sales professionals.
Demonstrate Applied Sales Competence: Execute and document sales activities in roleplay and live client environments to simulate 12 months of entry-level sales experience in just 12 weeks.
Collaborate in Team Projects: Engage in peer-to-peer learning environments to build teamwork, communication, and presentation readiness.
Engage Industry Mentors Weekly: Participate in guided mentorship sessions with seasoned tech sales professionals—including mentors from Comcast—and receive actionable feedback on pitch performance and sales approach.
Build a Market-Ready Sales Portfolio: Deliver final presentations and sales plans that demonstrate your knowledge, communication style, and value to hiring partners.
Access to Career Pathways: Qualify for internships, apprenticeships, or direct placement pipelines with national hiring partners in the IT and telecom industries.

Strong interest in transitioning into tech/telecommunications sales
Availability for 2–5 hours per week of training engagement over the program’s duration
Basic digital literacy and comfort using virtual collaboration platforms
No prior sales experience required—just the intent to grow and contribute

Requirements Must have served in U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard. NCO/Supervisor who is a well-rounded technician. Will supervise one person and be hands on for now. Strong communications and ability to think outside the box.
