Summary:
Our client is seeking a driven and hands-on Sales Lead to oversee and grow their Columbia market. This position offers the opportunity to lead a motivated team, manage key accounts, and drive growth across a high-potential territory. This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader with a background in construction materials, landscaping supply, or related industries who thrives on developing people, building customer relationships, and delivering results.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of five (2 Sales Representatives and 3 Customer Service Representatives)
Manage a book of 15–25 accounts, serving as a key point of contact for client needs
Drive new business development across the Midlands region
Hold the team accountable to established performance metrics while supporting their growth
Build and strengthen relationships with a mix of commercial and residential builder accounts
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a Sales Lead or Sales Manager role
Strong background in construction materials, landscaping/site supply, or a related industry
Demonstrated ability to build relationships, motivate teams, and drive revenue
Understanding of logistics and inventory flow is a plus
A hands-on leader who is eager to grow a book of business while developing a team
Compensation
Base salary of $65,000
Year 1 target earnings: ~$90,000
Year 2 potential: $120,000–$130,000+ (as the territory ramps)
