About the Role:

The Sales Lead in the retail trade industry plays a pivotal role in driving sales performance and ensuring exceptional customer experiences within the store. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retail sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment within the retail trade industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising techniques.
  • Familiarity with sales analytics tools and CRM software.
  • Additional certifications in sales or retail management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular feedback and training to improve individual and team results.
  • Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, visually appealing, and stocked according to company standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve escalated issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with store management to implement promotional campaigns and merchandising strategies.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales associates to build a competent and motivated team.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and retail regulations.
