The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of Sales Representatives to achieve sales goals and maximize revenue. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, providing coaching and training, and ensuring the team maintains high levels of customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will work closely with other departments, particularly Marketing and Operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive growth within the business. Key Responsibilities Sales Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Representatives. Set clear sales goals and performance expectations, and track progress against targets. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and training to improve individual and team performance. Conduct regular team meetings to share updates, discuss challenges, and align on objectives. Proper use of time management. Example - meetings, one on one and conference calls 30% of the time. Personal leads ran 30% of the time, Field rides 40% of the time. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and meet company objectives. Work with the Marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and lead generation. Identify new business opportunities and strategies to grow the customer base. Monitor market trends and adjust sales approaches to stay competitive. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans. Prepare regular reports for upper management, including sales performance, forecasts, and trends. Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring proper follow-up and conversion of leads. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to enhance customer retention. Ensure the team delivers excellent customer service throughout the sales process. Handle escalated customer issues, ensuring they are resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with the Marketing team to generate qualified leads and promote new products/services. Collaborate with Operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Partner with the Recruitment team to hire new sales talent as needed. What we are offering: $100,000 - $200,000 a year which includes: Base Salary Overrides Commissions Bonus Incentives Auto Allowance Benefits Package 401k Match PTO Requirements Qualifications & Requirements 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a sales management role. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams. Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and drive performance improvements. Experience with CRM software and other sales tools. Core Competencies Leadership – Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team. Working Conditions Office-based role with some travel to meet with clients and team members as necessary. Occasional evening or weekend work for special projects or client meetings.
