We Are Looking For
The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. They will take a leading role in revenue generation and profitability. The Sales Manager will also provide customer outreach and support during the entire sales process.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
This position will be responsible for the sale of products and services
Identify potential customers
Call, email and visit to introduce products and field customer inquiries
Attend conferences and trade shows to network
Work closely with top management to analyze market opportunities, develop/refine business development strategies, and implement action plans to drive market penetration and sales expansion
Develop and maintain sales forecast to advise production on upcoming supply chain requirements
Work with customers to confirm need, timing and availability of products and services
Assist in the development and presentation of proposals
Focus on closing of the sales process and processing of purchase orders with superior communication. Assist in negotiations
Maintain customer relationships with regular outreach and solicitation of feedback
Rapidly and accurately address customer requests
Ensure the application of the highest ethical standards in all sales transactions
Work with finance/accounting to ensure timely collection and recording of purchasing commitments and invoices
Help to Develop Sales Team
Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills): Bachelor's degree required
4+ years of sales in military Aerospace/Aviation industry
Comprehensive understanding and control of accounts on hand
Good understanding of U.S. Import/Export Laws and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Commerce Control List (CCL))
Strong analysis and synthesis ability to understand issues and develop solutions to close sales
Motivated self-starter
Professional communication skills
Good team leading and coaching skills
Ability to keep calm and control confrontation and challenges
Ability to multitask with details oriented
Ability to work well under pressure
Good computer skills including Excel, Outlook, Words, and Power Point
