Wurzak Hotel Group is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to support our sales efforts at our gorgeous property, The Dalmar Fort Lauderdale a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott . The Sales Manager is responsible for driving hotel revenue by identifying, securing, and managing group and/or transient business within an assigned market segment (e.g., corporate, SMERF, association). The role involves active selling, market analysis, account relationship development, and execution of sales strategies aligned with hotel goals. This position collaborates cross-functionally with hotel leadership to ensure revenue goals, RevPAR, and top-line targets are met.

Essential Functions

Client Representation & Communication : Represent the hotel in a professional and persuasive manner with clients, community partners, and vendors. Communicate hotel features, services, and brand value with confidence and accuracy.
Prospecting & Business Development : Source new business through cold calling, networking, market research, and digital channels. Identify demand generators and develop strategies to secure revenue-producing accounts.
Sales Execution : Conduct site visits, develop and deliver customized proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business. Anticipate and address client concerns to secure long-term loyalty.
Account Management : Maintain consistent communication with clients post-booking to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Monitor client feedback and manage service recovery when necessary.
Revenue Management Collaboration : Work with revenue and operations teams to align strategies, manage inventory, and optimize profitability for high-demand dates and compression periods.
Reporting & Documentation : Complete required reports and sales tracking in a timely, accurate manner. Maintain up-to-date CRM records and ensure compliance with brand and corporate standards.
Upsell and Conversion : Maintain strong upsell and lead conversion rates, consistently maximizing revenue per opportunity.

Room Revenue : Attain individual room revenue goals through proactive prospecting, client management, and effective sales execution.
F&B and Rental Revenue : Meet assigned revenue targets for food & beverage and space rentals through strategic upselling and event sales.
RevPAR and Index Growth : Directly support hotel RevPAR performance and competitive market index growth as measured by STR reports through revenue-optimized selling practices.
Top-Line Revenue : Achieve top-line sales goals by maintaining a strong pipeline and executing business development strategies.

Education & Experience
The Company may consider equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience providing the knowledge, skills and abilities cited below:
5+ years of related experience in hotels and/or outside sales
College degree in hospitality, marketing, business or related degree
2+ years of experience working in Hilton/Marriott brand hotel
