The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated Assistant Sales Manager to join our Inside Sales leadership team. This role is perfect for someone with property and casualty insurance experience who’s ready to take the next step toward sales leadership.
In this role, you’ll work closely with a Senior Sales Supervisor to learn, grow, and lead. You’ll help coach, train, and develop Business Development Associates within our centralized Inside Sales Team based in Jacksonville, FL. We’re seeking a leader in the making who’s eager to develop a strong sales culture and drive results.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Senior Sales Supervisor in managing day-to-day team operations, including sales performance, service quality, and retention.
Assist with inbound and outbound sales activity to meet weekly KPIs.
Help coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
Contribute to the creation and execution of development plans, using performance data to accelerate growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding, licensing compliance, and readiness of new hires.
Gain hands-on leadership experience with a clear pathway to future management opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance (sales or account management).
Must currently hold a valid Florida General Lines Insurance License (2-20)
Must have the ability to work on-site, Mon-Friday in Jacksonville, FL.
Strong understanding of insurance products, sales processes, and licensing requirements.
Demonstrated ability to coach peers, train team members, or take on informal leadership responsibilities.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a team lead, or training role within the insurance industry.
Strong grasp of performance metrics, sales analytics, and team development strategies.
Proven ability to inspire, coach, and motivate others to achieve results.
Passion for building a leadership career in insurance sales.
