As the Sales Manager , you will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic sales team, creating exceptional customer experiences. This role is responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, and retaining top-performing Internet Sales Associates. You will focus on driving high performance within the team, expanding market share, achieving sales targets, and maintaining strong profit margins-all while ensuring customer satisfaction at every step of the process.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities? Lead yourself and the team in alignment with The Premier Collection's vision and mission. Establish a clear vision and set goals to drive performance in both new and used vehicle sales, focusing on profit growth. Engage and motivate the team to meet key goals, performance standards, and best practices. Be actively involved in the day-to-day operations to drive business success. Ensure timely and effective handling of e-leads, responding to inquiries, providing information, and ideally scheduling in-store visits. Manage follow-up with e-leads, assisting customers throughout their research phase until they are ready to make a purchase. Facilitate smooth transitions for customers from phone or internet interactions to their in-store experience. Oversee the negotiation process with Sales Associates to ensure customers are informed about vehicle purchase options and pricing. Appraise trade-in vehicles. Manage traffic across three customer channels: Showroom, Internet, and Phones. Collaborate with the General Manager and/or General Sales Manager to manage new and used vehicle inventory. Help control expenses within the New and Used Vehicle Departments. Analyze business performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to drive success.
