Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Support Specialist to assist in driving client success within the science and technology sectors. This role supports the sales team through data management, campaign coordination, and administrative support, leveraging tools like our CRM platform, Microsoft Dynamics to ensure efficient processes and impactful outreach.
Key Responsibilities: Document Management & Collateral Development: Develop, manage, and maintain technical and marketing documents, including product sheets, project documentation, and sales collateral tailored to science and technology clients. CRM Data Entry & Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect information in the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and support sales pipeline activities. Data Mining & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities using data-driven approaches to support sales targeting efforts within research labs, universities, and high-tech facilities. Design Assistance & Regional Campaign Support: Provide administrative and coordination support for regional marketing initiatives and design teams, ensuring campaigns align with business development goals. Campaign & Trade Show Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and trade shows; manage logistics, materials, and post-event reporting. Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications)
Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing Experience supporting technical sales teams or capital project workflows Understanding of laboratory furniture, fume hoods, or casework systems Comfortable collaborating with field sales, design teams, and external stakeholders Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience Prior experience in a sales or marketing support role, ideally within the construction or capital equipment industry Familiarity with CRM systems Experience mining and distilling market data to support applicable trends Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Intermediate to advanced skills and proven experience with desktop applications including MS Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Knowledge of the science and technology market, especially laboratory and research facility infrastructure, is a strong advantage High energy, entrepreneurial and curious Excellent verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills Able to work in fast-paced, environment dealing with multiple personalities and changing needs.
