Title: Sales Operations Analyst Location: Laurel, MD Reports To: Chief Growth Officer Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Sales Operations Analyst to strengthen our sales reporting and insights capabilities. This role is responsible for developing reliable reporting frameworks, uncovering actionable insights, and enabling the sales organization to make informed, strategic decisions. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with strong business acumen and communication skills, turning raw data into clear, compelling narratives that drive growth. Key Responsibilities Sales Reporting Build, maintain, and optimize recurring sales reports and dashboards (weekly, monthly, quarterly) that provide leadership and frontline teams with accurate performance visibility. Ensure data integrity across CRM, BI, and reporting systems, performing regular audits to guarantee accuracy and consistency. Develop standardized reporting frameworks to track KPIs such as pipeline health, conversion rates, revenue attainment, quota achievement, and sales cycle performance. Partner with Sales Ops and IT teams to automate reporting processes, reducing manual effort and improving turnaround times. Support ad-hoc reporting needs for leadership, ensuring timely and precise delivery of data. Sales Insights Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across regions, products, and customer segments. Deliver actionable insights that inform sales strategy, territory design, forecasting, and resource allocation. Create presentations and executive summaries that translate complex data into clear business recommendations for leadership. Partner with Finance, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to align insights with broader business strategy. Provide forward-looking analysis (leading indicators, pipeline momentum, customer behavior) to anticipate challenges and recommend corrective actions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or related field; advanced degree a plus. 2–4 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, or a similar data-driven role. Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and pipeline analytics. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills with a sharp eye for detail. Strong communication skills; able to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
