We’re seeking a highly organized, personable, and driven Sales & Operations Manager to help us grow while ensuring smooth, efficient operations.
Position Overview
As Sales & Operations Manager, you’ll be the hub of our daily operations, making sure the office runs efficiently, customers are supported promptly, and sales/marketing plans are consistently executed. Your work will balance customer communications, account management, and field marketing coordination, while also driving new business through outreach, events, and community engagement.
Success in this role requires adaptability, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset for managing people, processes, and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Operations
Lead, train, and oversee virtual assistants (VAs) and interns for pest control and holiday lighting divisions.
Address and resolve customer concerns quickly, coordinating with technicians when needed.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure materials are stocked for field teams.
Track technician hours and service logs for payroll accuracy.
Assist technicians by answering calls, providing service updates, and communicating route issues to the Owner.
Participate in monthly and annual business planning, tracking progress on action items.
Sales & Marketing
Research and identify local businesses, HOAs, and event opportunities for marketing and partnerships.
Make outbound calls, follow up with prospective clients, and schedule service consultations.
Represent Pest Hunters Mosquito Hunters™ at community events, expos, and networking groups (e.g., Chamber, BNI).
Create, schedule, and post engaging social media content (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
Plan and execute email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp).
Design promotional materials (flyers, door hangers, lawn signs) using tools like Canva.
Track, measure, and report on campaign performance.
Implement creative grassroots marketing such as visibility “parketing” and referral incentives.
Commercial Canvassing
Visit neighborhoods and commercial sites to promote services in person.
Distribute marketing materials, introduce offerings, and gather contact information.
Set appointments and identify partnership opportunities in the community.
Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company professionally and enthusiastically.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably direct or door-to-door.
Comfortable navigating varied sales environments and client interactions.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
Reliable, with strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, team members, and leadership.
Comfortable with outreach, canvassing, and networking.
Valid Driver’s License.
Willingness to learn about pest control services.
Compensation & Perks
Pay: $20–$30/hour (depending on experience)
Commission potential for new customer sales and upsells.
