The Sales Project Manager is an extension of the sales team, responsible for the continuous management of projects and revenue growth. This position works directly in sales initiatives to ensure on-time deliverables of projects supporting Electrical distribution equipment, including panelboards and switchboards. This is a full-time in-office opportunity, where collaboration with our sales, engineering, and production staff is key. Looking for someone with great communication and Customer facing skills. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in related fields, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering is a requirement 2-5 Years of Project Management experience is a requirement Sales experience in changing/complex sales cycles and project deliverables Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Smartsheet, and SAP Relevant industry experience managing projects in either an electrical enclosure manufacturing environment or Electrical Contractor Environment Ability to read and interpret general 2D/3D drawings and RFQ documentation Adaptable to fast-paced, high volume of design projects Ability to work fully onsite (this is not a remote position) Primary Job Responsibilities: Works directly with customers to ensure all pertinent information is received for project deliverables and other sales-related topics Reviews customer provided engineering drawings or concept drawings for technical input and transfer to engineering Communicates regularly with customers and internal stakeholders on project status Manages projects from concept through engineering and production phases to final shipment Identifies and explores opportunities for additional revenue. Monitor production capacity constraints and alerts necessary team members to issues. Collaborates directly with production, quality, and manufacturing engineering to continuously improve scheduling and planning processes. Manages budgetary reviews and document overages on active and closed projects. Participate in weekly production and scheduling meetings. Works with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety committee to ensure and maintain compliance with safety operational, and regulatory standards.
