Sales Representative – Commercial Sales

Position Summary:
Highwood USA, LLC is looking for a talented sales specialist with a track record of success selling into commercial, hospitality and contract channels with our Sequoia Professional brand. The ideal candidate will have experience and existing networks within these channels (preferably selling outdoor living products and, ideally, outdoor furniture). Highwood USA/ Sequoia Professional is a leading supplier of commercial and residential outdoor furniture in the US. These professional grade products are made from our proprietary synthetic wood in Hazleton PA. This same material has been a favorite wood-replacement at famous Theme Parks around the world for more than a decade.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Building relationships and working directly with buyers who have decision making responsibility.
Work with and manage implementation of delivery and placement
Identify the targets, develop and manage lead flow to ensure a constant stream of new business opportunities through core commercial segments such as but not limited to:
Commercial
University & Education
Parks & Recreation
Builders/New Construction
HOA
Hospitality – Hotel, Restaurants, Sports
Initiate contact via phone, email and in-market visits as needed to ensure the best return on sales opportunities.
Provide quotes, marketing and logistical information associated with opportunities
Provide timely market feedback, new product ideas/ concepts in efforts to create products and programs that will yield results in commercial channels.
Work closely with the National Sales Manager to deliver on an aggressive sales revenue budget – you will help drive the growth of market share in these segments.
Essential Functions
Clear understanding of sales and marketing principles (especially in relation to Commercial opportunities) and be able to apply them.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills...tracking multiple projects.
An outstanding communicator and collaborator.
A demonstrated strategic thinker, yet also able to execute tactically.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with management and peers.
Able and willing to travel as required.
Attend Trade events and expos as required
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree plus, 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a direct commercial sales role with a clear track record of success.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong numbers/data/analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, in a service-oriented manner with senior management and peers
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment (plant) is usually moderate to occasionally loud and PPE is required. Appropriate hearing protection while in the plant is required as noise levels within the facility meet OSHA requirements for hearing protection equipment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Digital Marketing Assistants typically work in an office environment although projects may be involved with possibly that will take them to non-standard workplaces.
