Join our team as a Sales Route Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in supervising and nurturing a talented team of Route Drivers and Sales Representatives. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and upper management will be key to your success. COMPENSATION : This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $69,000 to $80,000 . The final offer will be based on qualifications and experience. Job Responsibilities Drive profitability and cultivate relationships with existing and potential customers while maintaining the market center’s overall managed volume. Develop a strong Service and Safety culture, utilizing your leadership skills to enhance employee performance and strengthen client partnerships. Facilitate recruitment, development, and retention of staff while fostering strong customer relationships. Ensure optimal execution of route sales. Address route service challenges for clients and conduct site visits as necessary to evaluate issues. Promote effective communication across all organizational levels. Plan, schedule, assign, and monitor daily route tasks to meet company service standards. Provide ongoing feedback to Route Sales employees, recognizing achievements and coaching for improvement in areas such as productivity, sales skills, and client retention. Maintain accurate business records and documentation, including personnel files and delivery reports, in compliance with administrative standards. Qualifications Prior management or supervisory experience is preferred. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain DOT certification for regulated vehicles are required. A clean driving record for the past five years is mandatory. Strong skills in client interaction, communication, organization, multitasking, and computer proficiency are essential for success in this role. Adeptness in working independently and efficiently is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is necessary.
