Job Type Full-time Description Offix, LC is one of the Northern Virginia's fastest growing office equipment dealers! We provide full sales and service on copies, multifunction printers and large format printers. Offix is currently hiring a Sales Specialist in our Mailing and Shipping Division.
Primary Responsibilities
To consistently meet and exceed monthly Quotas in Revenue, Gross Profit %, Gross Profit Dollars
To engage with and further build customer relationships with existing assigned Offix customers. Ensure you achieve Offix’ “Customer Touch” minimum standards with all assigned accounts
To achieve Offix’ minimum activity levels as outlined in our Activity Level document and/or documented 1-1’s with your Manager
To accurately and timely input data into our CRM to “build” the assignment opportunity base
Respond to customers, prospects, and co-workers in a timely manner, via telephone, email, or written communication
Create and execute an effective sales call plan
Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospect customers via meetings, phone calls, and emails
Visiting potential customers to prospect for new businesses
New business prospecting and development, including cold calling, setting appointments, and forming solution proposals for presentations
Gaining a clear understanding and knowledge of customers businesses and requirements
Specialist Responsibilities
Be a subject matter expert in Mailing and Shipping Products supporting Offix’ entire Sales Team
In coordination with the Vice President of Sales, conduct training sessions with the Offix sales team to increase product knowledge and their ability to look for wide format opportunities
Act as a point of contact/liaison with Offix’ Mailing and Shipping manufacturers (FP Mailing, Formax, etc.) for pertinent updates, product information, product releases and communicate the information to the sales team in coordination with the Vice President of Sales
Activities - Tasks - Skills
Develop a Sales Plan for the accomplishment of Sales Goals within the assignment
Conduct Sales activities, including Needs Assessments and System Design to support the sales of more profitable targets, products in the connected environment
Implement company marketing strategy to grow a loyal, profitable customer base in assignment, which will provide for on-going revenue from support, supplies and services
Join three to five organizations that provide opportunities for networking. Examples would be Chamber of Commerce, Not for Profit’s, BNI Chapter, Club’s, I.T. Social Networking
Communicate clearly and accurately with customers and company personnel
Attend trainings, sales meetings and Offix sponsored events and networking opportunities
Effective at handling objections, installs and key operator training
Embrace and follow Company Values, direction, and plans
Strive to achieve effective time management each day
Approach each day with a keen sense of self-discipline and urgency
In depth knowledge of Offix procedures for proposals to be proficient with the company software
Understand the various jobs, duties, and functions within Offix to be able to reach out to the appropriate person for help
Be proficient in all forms of written communication; including proposals, cost justifications and explanation of system's benefits and value
Follow up customer problems and situations to ensure they are resolved quickly; return all phone calls to customers and company personnel within 4 business hours
Adhere to the company's dress code and ensure a professional appearance at all time
Be prompt and prepared at all assigned meetings
Make sure the information provided is protected
Must demonstrate an appropriate level of emotional intelligence and personal responsibility
Requirements Bachelor’s degree, or related work experience preferred
2 or more years of business to business selling experience (office product industry preferred)
Knowledge of networking and solutions is valued
Be able to work as a team
Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, good driving record, and proof of car insurance
Must be able to meet deadlines
Must be able to multi-task
