Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays.About The RoleAs a Sales Strategy & Operations Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our go-to-market strategy and driving data-informed decision-making across our sales organization. This position sits at the intersection of sales, strategy, and analytics, offering the opportunity to significantly impact Notion's growth trajectory. You'll work closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize processes, deliver actionable insights, and support key strategic initiatives. You will report directly to the Head of Sales Strategy & Operations.We are looking for someone who is a first-principles thinker, has strong analytical skills, and is effective at building cross-functional partnerships. This is a highly quantitative role. You should be excited to dive into analyses and build complex financial and operational process models that clearly incorporate granular operational nuance. We’re looking for someone with a high sense of ownership, track record of building from scratch and ability to communicate across levels and audiences to get things done.What You'll AchieveStrategic Partnership & Global Influence: Develop analyses that help design, set and measure strategy for the global Sales organization. Present optionality to leadership to inform the right big bets for annual and in-year plans. Lead through influence across GTM Leadership, BizTech, Data, Finance and more to deliver results.Quantitative analysis: Build, from scratch, complex Excel models that senior business leadership can rely on for big bets. You will be building assets like headcount capacity models that have clear best practice standards. You’ll also be modeling processes and ideas that have no clear precedents. Think: how do I model AI leverage GTM processes?Operations Strategy: Think from first principles as to how Notion’s revenue teams should be organized, designed and managed. Help us set the target operating state, set work back plans to achieve the target and be a hands on driver and owner of the path there. Help us design the big picture, but roll up your sleeves to get into the detail.Actionable Performance Visibility: Build KPI reviews that identify risks and trends, enabling data-driven decisions across all levels. Design and implement comprehensive sales performance dashboards that provide clear visibility into our operations. Generate insights about performance and drivers to guide critical decisions. Partner with RevOps, GTM Leads and BizTech to establish robust global operating processes.Skills You'll Need To Bring3-6 years working in sales operations, strategy, or analytics roles, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment1-3 years in management consulting, investment banking, hedge fund investing or equivalent roleBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar quantitative field and/or demonstrated quantitative achievement in challenging professional environmentsTop tier analytical skills -- can model any operational question full cycle (develop assumptions and model output with minimal guidance)Proficiency with core sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, etc.)High EQ -- works well with stakeholders, gains trust, enjoys working with peopleSenior presence -- can convey complex information to executives clearly and concisely; can resolve tradeoffs. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below.
