Position Overview: A successful Sales Team Leader at Duluth Trading Company will strive to create outstanding customer experiences, embodied in our standard of service known as Go for WOW! This means treating customers right and seeking opportunities to exceed their expectations. Position Details: This is a Full-Time Hourly Supervisory Position. What You'll Do: Develop an exceptional understanding of the Duluth brand and product knowledge to offer friendly, solution-oriented customer service. Lead your team to do the same. Demonstrate high engagement and service levels personally, setting the standard for the team. Manage the store's floor coverage to enhance customer engagement and drive the Duluth experience. Ensure accurate recording of customer profile information. Proactively address customer concerns, providing positive resolutions and empowering team decisions. Maintain merchandise presentation in line with Visual Merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is always customer-ready. Effectively set up sales and promotions with clear signage and communication. Oversee the handling of merchandise receipts and transfers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Uphold cleanliness standards for the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area. Provide regular, constructive feedback to team members. Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and programs while setting a positive example. Train all cash-handling and reporting functions for the team. Process all register functions accurately in the store. Ensure store security and respond to alarms as instructed. Prioritize the safety of employees and customers and communicate any concerns to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience is preferred but not necessary. Customer-centric mindset. Ownership and pride in the store's success. Integrity and trustworthiness in operations. Excellent communication and listening skills. A collaborative approach and team player. Willingness to perform other duties as needed. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Environmental Factors: Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours daily. Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting movements. Repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reaching with arms are common. Frequent lifting of up to twenty pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. Ability to push/pull up to 20 lbs. Climbing ladders and reaching overhead are necessary. Work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, notably in stockroom areas. Use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
