The work The Retirement & Commerce Transformation Senior Manager will apply deep expertise in the Retirement, Capital Markets, and/or Financial Services industry at the intersection of Sales and Commerce Transformation. The candidate will deliver on engagements in the following areas: Thought Leadership Ability to understand client needs, develop proposed solutions and deliver high impact technology initiatives; consult and partner with clients to help them develop high performance solutions in Retirement, Capital Markets and/or Financial Services Build relationships with Financial Services clients to sustain Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner Consult with clients to develop high performance solutions; advise on ways to measure and improve customer satisfaction, sales and revenue targets, operational efficiency, and other business metrics Manage and coach junior team members, and grow your own expertise to support thought leadership Delivery Execution Design and execute large scale and complex integrated programs and transformations focusing on people, process and technology in the Retirement industry Implement business changes driving operating model transformation with focus on people and process Synthesize technology needs by analyzing solutions and selecting tools to meet client requirements Manage banking implementation engagements (requirements, design, test, deployment) with heavy client engagement and large delivery teams Lead teams of Financial Services and other Accenture practitioners; coach and develop junior team members Sales & Origination Originate, qualify, and close new opportunities for Accenture with Financial Services clients, including B2B, B2C and B2B2C digital commerce and sales optimization experiences Drive pipeline opportunities from idea to contract to implementation across Accenture offerings Manage performance and profitability of sold deals; identify cross-sell or up-sell opportunities Here’s what you’ll need 8+ years Retirement or Capital Markets industry experience, leading transformations in sales, operations, product or strategy; strong understanding of Retirement industry and regulatory environment; experience improving end-to-end retirement customer experience 5+ years of management or technology consulting experience with engagement management, business development, and leading complex transformations 2+ years of experience originating, qualifying, and closing new opportunities through proposals or business development 2+ years making strategic recommendations and/or managing a pipeline of opportunities; providing enterprise-level advisory Bonus points if you have Excellent written and oral communication and storytelling for executive audiences Strong client relationship development and management skills Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities Ability to build business cases for large enterprise initiatives Experience delivering CRM, CPQ, Lead to Order, or Sales Transformation implementations Advanced degree or financial industry certification Experience working with onshore and offshore delivery teams Existing network within the Financial Services industry at decision-making levels Travel may be required (0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements) Compensation and location Compensation varies by office location, role, skill set, and experience. A reasonable salary range is provided for California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, and Washington as listed in the job posting.
