Overview JOB TITLE: Sales Transformation Lead
Strong technical background (not purely project management or business). Will not be a developer but must be able to understand the technical side
Must have experience in Sales Transformation, ideally within a Lead-to-Quote or Lead-to-Cash space.
Has led or supported similar transformations at enterprise scale.
LOCATION: Remote (PST preferred) with occasional travel may be required (e.g., workshops in Austin or Sunnyvale)
DURATION: 4 months to start with a possibilty of an extension
RATE RANGE: $80-$105
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Sales Transformation Lead to support a high-impact Lead-to-Quote (L2Q) transformation initiative. This role will play a key part in redesigning and optimizing core sales processes including account hierarchies, opportunity workflows, and lead management within Salesforce. The ideal candidate brings strong business process acumen, technical understanding, and experience leading large-scale sales systems transformations at the enterprise level.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role bridges business and technical needs within the sales organization. The Sales Transformation Lead will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable and effective solutions.
Process Improvement
Identify and evaluate gaps in current sales processes and workflows
Analyze existing account, lead, and opportunity structures within Salesforce
Design and recommend optimized processes and tooling aligned with business goals
Stakeholder Management
Partner with business leads, including close collaboration with Diana (project lead)
Gather requirements, pain points, and feedback from sales, operations, and GTM stakeholders
Maintain consistent communication across functional teams to ensure alignment
Technical Partnership
Collaborate closely with Salesforce technical team and solution architects
Oversee and support solution design and execution
Ensure all solutions meet business needs and scale with future growth
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years in roles focused on Sales Transformation, Salesforce optimization with in Lead-to-Quote (L2Q) programs
Proven track record of delivering large-scale, enterprise-level transformation initiatives
Strong background in Salesforce Sales Cloud process design, especially in account hierarchy, opportunity management, and lead workflows
Experience acting as a business-savvy technical lead on complex programs
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud; familiarity with Revenue Cloud and CLM tools is a plus
Ability to translate business needs into scalable, technical solutions
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable operating in an agile, fast-paced environment
Ability to facilitate workshops, define user stories, and drive cross-functional collaboration
Nice to Have
Salesforce certifications (Admin, Sales Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist)
Experience with Salesforce CPQ, CLM platforms (e.g., Ironclad), or partner portals
SQL or SOQL familiarity for light data analysis and validation
