The Selling Sales Manager is a dual-role position responsible for directly selling new homes two (2) days per week while performing Area Sales Manager (ASM) duties the remaining three (3) days. This role is designed to drive sales performance, provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, and ensure the successful execution of company goals within the Tampa division.
Key Responsibilities
Sales (2 Days/Week) Actively sell new homes in assigned communities. Manage all aspects of the customer sales journey, from initial contact through contract signing. Deliver an exceptional customer experience by demonstrating product knowledge, community expertise, and professionalism. Achieve individual sales goals in alignment with company targets. Area Sales Manager Duties (3 Days/Week) Supervise and support Sales Counselors within assigned communities, ensuring sales processes and standards are consistently followed. Train, coach, and mentor Sales Counselors to maximize performance and improve customer satisfaction. Monitor community performance, traffic reports, contracts, and closings. Collaborate with Marketing, Construction, and other departments to ensure alignment on goals and timelines. Provide regular reporting and feedback to the Director of Sales regarding sales activity, market conditions, and team performance. Partner with leadership to implement sales strategies and achieve divisional objectives.
Required Qualifications
Active Florida Real Estate License is required Proficiency in CRM systems (JPS or similar), Microsoft Office, and real estate listing platforms (MLS) Strong organizational and time management skills Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a high level of initiative and enthusiasm Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail Minimum 3–5 years of new home sales experience required. Previous leadership or management experience strongly preferred. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills. Ability to balance selling responsibilities with leadership duties effectively.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to use standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier, etc.) Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs for marketing materials or event setup Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in model homes, sales centers, and communities. Must have reliable transportation for travel between communities.
