Senior Assistant General Counsel, Manager - Litigation Overview: Intuit's litigation team is a small, dynamic, high-performing group responsible for overseeing litigation, investigation matters involving government entities and regulators, responses to third-party requests for information, and a wide range of other matters. We’re seeking a senior attorney with significant litigation experience to join our team as an Assistant General Counsel, Litigation. This role will report to the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel who oversees the litigation team, which is part of the overall Legal team at Intuit. This position is global in scope and covers all Intuit Inc. products and services. What you\'ll bring JD in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar and the ability to practice law in your local jurisdiction 15+ combined years of experience in enforcement and investigations with a top-tier law firm, government office (e.g., U.S. Attorney’s Office, state Attorney General’s Office, FTC, SEC), AND in-house legal department (in-house experience is required) Prior experience managing direct reports is required A good litigator\'s mindset: thorough, detail-oriented, and results-driven; proactive issue identification and solution development A good business partner’s mindset: ability to balance risk and opportunity and enable smart business decisions Curious and continuous learner: quickly understands facts, learns new areas, and develops deep knowledge Team-player: builds relationships across the company, open to feedback and collaboration Ability to independently manage significant caseloads and cross-company projects with competing deadlines Highly organized with a focus on prioritization, process, and rigor; willingness to improve processes High level of enthusiasm and a positive attitude Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with business professionals at different levels Integrity, accountability, and strong collaboration across the organization Ability to produce clear and succinct written legal analysis and business communications, and to counsel and manage clients, including senior management Ability to frame issues to drive strategic thinking and execution Good judgment How you will lead Managing and resolving a wide range of lawsuits and pre-litigation disputes to achieve good business and legal results and facilitate smart risk-taking Driving responses to investigation matters and inquiries involving regulators and other government entities Developing all aspects of strategy for managing and resolving cases and investigations Conducting internal investigations and fact development, including working with witnesses Working in close partnership with colleagues in the Legal Department and business partners across the company, to achieve good business and legal results and facilitate smart risk-taking Helping manage Intuit\'s responses to third-party requests for information, complying with the law and protecting data Managing in-house legal support staff Supervising outside counsel and legal service providers, managing budgets and supporting litigation and investigations reporting Drafting policies and internal procedures, and conducting training to educate business partners; adding rigor to internal processes Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is: Bay Area California: $247,000 - $334,000 Southern California: $240,500 - $325,000 Washington DC: $207,000 - $280,000 This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit conducts regular pay equity analyses for ethnicity and gender.
