Below are the essential functions of the role: Managing the sales team: Lead a team of sales professionals providing guidance, training and motivation to achieve sales targets, including setting performance objectives, training needs and conducting regular performance reviews Developing and implementing sales strategies: Create and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share within the region Building and managing client relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular visits, industry events and networking to generate new business opportunities Strengthening the relationship between our corporate office and hotels: Promote open communication, foster collaboration and align goals for mutual success Collaborating with peers and key stakeholders: Work with Regional Sales Office (RSO) and Dorchester Collection colleagues to promote cross-departmental coordination and ensure effective implementation of sales strategies Monitoring market trends and competition: Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences and competitor activities to identify opportunities and stay ahead Budgeting and forecasting: Develop and manage the regional sales budget including RSO budgets and unified trip revenue forecasts and expenses Reporting and analysis: Prepare regular updates and analyses for management highlighting KPIs, sales trends and opportunities for improvement, using Nexus and other sales tools to track data Living our values: Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity in daily work to create our legacy Business travel is a key requirement in this role (minimum 40%). What you'll bring Minimum 10 years experience in sales and marketing within the luxury hotel industry, ideally as a Director of Sales and Marketing or Regional Sales Director Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate, set goals and develop a high-performing sales team Strategic thinking and analytical skills Market knowledge and ability to build new business while nurturing existing clients Strong business/financial acumen with ability to balance financial considerations Excellent written and verbal communication with persuasiveness Ability to develop long-lasting relationships with clients, guests and corporate/hotel teams Proficient with MS Office; Excel; CRM experience is an advantage Job Location USA Location 9641 Sunset Blvd 90210 Beverly Hills Who we are Our Hotels We work with talented individuals to ensure extraordinary guest experiences.
