Senior Director, Sales – Enovis Surgical As a key member of the Sales Team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. Location: CA, OR, WA, AZ. Reports To: Vice President, Sales. Business Unit Description
Enovis Surgical provides orthopedic surgeons with modern, patient-focused solutions for total joint arthroplasty. We offer a full range of primary and revision implants for hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow reconstructive joint surgeries, along with tools and digital health technology. Our patented solutions include EMPOWR 3D Knee and AltiVate Reverse Shoulder, with a focus on improving quality of life and restoring movement. Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of direct and indirect sales employees to achieve revenue goals through strategic and tactical sales activities. Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategy, field sales effectiveness, processes, and plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives. Recruit, develop, coach, and direct Sales Representatives, Sales Associates, and Distributor Partners within defined markets. Drive growth with a focus on revenue generation and non-revenue objectives that impact cash flow and financial health. Manage budgets, expenses, forecasts, and field sales cadence. Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with Marketing and other internal teams. Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs; provide input to Marketing and Senior Leadership on market opportunities and programs. Key Responsibilities (Sales Strategy and Execution)
Set vision for area sales force aligned with company strategy; develop plans to achieve revenue goals. Engage field organization in sales funnel activities: lead generation, qualification, presentation, training, and closing. Partner with Enabling Technology in clinical and capital sales; support NPIs and critical product launches. Collaborate with distributors and representatives on product launches and strategic priorities. Ensure alignment with regional leadership on coverage needs and training programs. Deliver quarterly and annual business plans, revenue, and gross profit objectives; manage regional expenses within budget. Provide regular sales analysis, forecasts, and reporting; support cash flow and inventory management. Key Account Management
Grow and maintain relationships with key surgeons and accounts; provide exceptional service and case coverage as needed. Assess customer needs and develop strategic plans to optimize satisfaction and business results. Collaborate with pricing and contracting teams to support access and value for customers. Competitive and Market Analysis
Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends; identify gaps and opportunities. Develop counter-strategies to maintain competitive position. Supervisory Responsibility
Lead a team of indirect agents and distributor partners; recruit and develop talent; conduct performance management and coaching. Regulatory and Compliance
Commitment to Enovis Compliance & Ethics, Code of Conduct, Sales & Marketing Code of Conduct, and applicable regulations. Handle PHI with HIPAA standards. Minimum Basic Qualifications
12+ years of surgical sales experience, preferably with leadership or strategic sales focus. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive markets. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field; Master’s preferred. Residence in the responsibility area. Travel Requirements
Up to 75% travel; typical assignments involve 1–5 days, with overnight stays as needed. Field-based role; travel with customers and sales team for a minimum of 60% of the work week. Desired Characteristics

Ability to build relationships with high-level stakeholders and close complex deals. Strong business acumen supporting cash management and field inventory management.
