A stable, growing company with opportunities for advancement! Responsibilities Maintains a high occupancy percentage. Maintains the sales tracking system for the community and informs the General Manager (GM) and Director of Sales of trends. Works with GM and Business Office Director (BOD) to ensure accurate reporting of community census via the integrated CRM/accounting system (Yardi). Manages the entire sales process: building prospect base, responding to inquiries, generating tours, following up, and securing deposits for move-ins. Assists in transitioning the move-in process to the GM, Assisted Living Supervisor, Assisted Living Director, and other department heads upon receipt of deposit and agreed move-in date. Develops and implements innovative sales/marketing plans and community outreach to generate leads and create a positive reputation. Collaborates with Director of Marketing to provide feedback on media advertising, sponsorships, and marketing opportunities. Coordinates with the Activities Director and Executive Chef to plan events that benefit existing residents and attract potential residents. Conducts competitive shopping (minimum of 2 written reports submitted per year) and communicates findings to leadership. Stays aware of direct competitors, occupancy, offers, and changes, and shares insights with GM, VP of Operations, Director of Sales, Director of Marketing, and partners. Makes promotional recommendations based on competitive analysis. Positions Merrill Gardens in alignment with corporate vision and mission. Tracks and maintains the community marketing budget for events, outreach, and related items. Acting General Manager if assigned. Qualifications Four-year degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or Communications preferred. Three-plus years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in a related field.
