This position reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for leading recruitment and sales initiatives for RapidScale services aimed at prospective and existing Cox Business (CB) customers, as well as off-net clients engaging with RapidScale directly. The Senior Manager will oversee a team of Cloud Solution Consultants (CSC), dedicated to maximizing revenue opportunities and driving growth from CB customers and prospects nationwide. Furthermore, this role involves developing and implementing strategies to encourage CB sellers to collaborate actively with the Cloud Solutions Consultant team. This position includes sales quotas, holding full accountability for achieving 100% of quarterly and annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Performance & Targets: Surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
Lead the Regional CSC Team in achieving defined sales goals.
Forecast sales accurately to meet targets and support strategic planning.
Analyze sales performance and provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
Team Development & Coaching: Onboard and guide new CSCs toward target achievement.
Train and mentor both new and experienced CSCs, offering continuous coaching for high performance.
Create coaching programs to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the CSC team.
Actively recruit and manage sales talent to build a high-performing sales team.
Foster a collaborative environment that promotes ongoing learning and knowledge sharing.
Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with Cox Business Sales to exceed regional goals and objectives.
Partner with the marketing team to craft sales strategies that bolster RapidScale's brand and presence in the market.
Engage sales partners to optimize the sales funnel and drive revenue growth.
Generate innovative ideas and build partnerships to enhance business growth.
Provide management with feedback on RapidScale products and processes for continuous improvement.
Customer & Partner Engagement: Support customers, sales partners, and prospects, nurturing key relationships.
Travel as needed (up to 50%) to build and maintain relationships within the region.
Share and document best practices across teams.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 8 years of experience in managed IT services (or a combination of a master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or 12 years of experience without a degree).
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or leadership role.
Demonstrated history of high sales performance.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Technical knowledge of IT, Cloud, Managed Hosting, IaaS, DaaS, and DRaaS.
Experience with 'sell-with' strategies and matrix management.
The annual base salary for this position is $75,000. Additionally, the role is eligible for an incentive/commission target of $75,000.
