The Sr. Manager, Medicare Sales Strategy develops and executes strategic initiatives to drive sales growth through the direct digital and in-person education and activation of key broker partners regionally and nationally.
Collaborates with Strategic Partnership team, Sales Territory Leaders, Product and Market Leaders to define and develop sales strategies that drive Medicare business objectives and outcomes in support of business plan.
Owns and leads program performance KPIs, reporting and analysis to ensure all programs remain effective. Shares that reporting across a range of leaders and partners to optimize performance and outcomes.

Continuously aligns with Sales Leadership to ensure engagement metrics and performance results in sales target achievement.
Through engagement with National and Local Sales Leaders, continually seeks out needs, gaps and opportunities to support program and broker activation growth.
Through self and organizational awareness, remains highly coachable and trainable to enhance performance.
Provides clear, concise feedback and observations to team and leadership for current, near and long term broker engagement opportunities and enhanced sales delivery.
Measured by number of new selling brokers activated, year-over-year sales growth of brokers around key products and markets and expansion of broker portfolio as a result of training and activation.
Additional measurements may include similar supporting broker retention and broker book-of-business activities.
Job Requirements:
7+ years’ work experience in Medicare Advantage Sales or Distribution
Producer Health and Life License in resident state in good standing
Ability for travel up to 50% of the time and up to four nights per week occasionally
Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) of small and large scale training events in person and online
Adept at business intelligence, and sales reporting and analysis to support activation analysis and effectiveness of programs
Adept at collaboration and teamwork across multiple areas of the national, regional and local sales divisions of Medicare Advantage organizations, as well as operations, enrollment, compliance and finance
Mastery of Medicare Sales and Marketing compliance guidelines and proof of effectively executing programs within those guidelines
Mastery of presentation creation and public speaking skills
Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
Preferred Skills:
Medicare sales leadership in market, region or nationally
Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish
Education
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Masters degree a plus
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $149,328.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
