Role Summary
The Sales Engineer supports the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and customer awareness.
What You Will Do
Support sales team with technical expertise for customers and partners
Build relationships with key customer decision-makers to understand requirements and recommend solutions
Serve as subject matter expert for Sophos technology portfolio, conduct meetings, demos, and proofs of concept
Support customer success initiatives to promote cross-selling and portfolio expansion
Collaborate with Channel Sales and partner community to generate pipeline
What You Will Bring
3-5 years in a sales role working with decision-makers in large organizations, with a proven sales record
Knowledge of MDR services and Incident Response offerings
Technical cybersecurity understanding for Networks, Cloud, Windows, Linux, Mac OS
Strong communication skills for engaging demos
Ability to articulate technical and business advantages clearly
Experience selling through channel partners and team selling skills
In the U.S., the salary range is $95,900 to $160,300, plus commissions and benefits. Compensation depends on skills, experience, location, and organizational needs.
