The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. You will do so by identifying key business opportunities and segmented prospects. Your goal will be to meet or exceed your annual revenue quota.
Using our platform software, we have developed a suite of Utility Sector solutions that include comprehensive Performance Improvement and Condition Reporting, Simplified Work Management, Mobile Approvals, and Mobile Work Package Extensions. We have also created Packaged Integrations between asset management systems and other enterprise software applications such as SAP, Primavera, Documentum, Meridium, etc.
This is an individual contributor position and requires working from the San Francisco office when not traveling. We are seeking an individual who can maintain an ongoing level of engagement with key customers, build trusting relationships with clients, and protect the brand by maintaining a positive image.
The position requires taking initiative to create sales opportunities and establish a dedicated pipeline in a complex enterprise sales environment. The Enterprise Software Sales Executive will oversee operational activities within the organization, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations that meet the current and future needs of the organization.
You will be part of an elite engineering team embarking on the development of a new software platform that requires strong frontend skills to implement a proprietary framework, enabling a rich user experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Building long-term relationships with key clients and addressing customer concerns and complaints.
Understanding of CRM and database software
Experience with financial systems
Skilled negotiation
Contributes to all aspects of the proposal preparation - from proposal organization, assigning proposal questions to subject matter experts and providing and managing deadlines, document tracking and version control, through to final proposal submission in line with established proposal development processes.
Ability to set up face-to-face meetings and presentations with C/VP level prospects.
Ability to develop a strong sales pipeline through individual marketing activities, including but not limited to cold calling, developing external referral sources, and marketing activities.
Presentation of proposed solution to prospects with the ability to convey the business value and competitive strengths of the solution.
Maintain a high level of communication with management on sales activities.
EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED
Minimum of 5 years of sales or sales management experiencein an enterprise Software company
Bachelor’s or an advanced degree.
Experience with legal contracts.
A strong preference will be given to those with experience in selling enterprise software, SaaS, and/or Utility Industry sales.
