Senior Sales Manager – Battery Materials

Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Manager will lead business development and account strategy efforts across key automotive and Tier 1 manufacturing customers. This is a high-impact role responsible for expanding our organizations' footprint in the North American battery market. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in chemical materials and experience managing large enterprise relationships across technical and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and drive account strategy, relationship management, and revenue growth with key OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
Translate customer needs into actionable internal plans across sales, technical, and R&D teams
Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial planning
Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and proposals
Monitor market trends and identify business development opportunities
Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product introductions and customer onboarding
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
5–8 years of technical B2B sales experience in the chemical materials or battery industry
Deep knowledge of electrolytes, lithium-ion battery systems, and OEM purchasing cycles
Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and closing large deals
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
Fluency in English is required
