OverviewWe are the Wellbeing Collective, a global Unilever business unit focused on health and wellbeing. The Senior Sales Planning Director leads the OLLY Sales Planning team and sits on the OLLY Brand Impact Group Leadership Team (BIG LT). The role drives strategic growth and long-term profitability for the OLLY brand, with a go-to-market plan aimed at becoming a $1B brand by 2030. The position requires a highly strategic, data-driven, collaborative leader with deep omni-channel sales experience in high-growth CPG environments. The role will oversee three sales planning team members and enhance the sales planning discipline across all classes of trade.ResponsibilitiesCreate a multi-year, omni-channel sales strategy and build sales targets for the Annual Operating Plan.Act as cross-functional hub between the WBC Field Sales Organization and the OLLY Operating Company.Serve as a cross-functional liaison to activate Shopper Marketing, Innovation Planning, SKU Rationalization, KPI Planning, Inventory Management, and Financial Planning.Lead the Sales Planning team, developing talent and optimizing processes.Partner with the BIG and OLLY Leadership Teams to deliver against OKRs, manage revenue and profit targets, and foster an inclusive environment.Collaborate with Field Sales to meet objectives and revenue targets; lead the monthly S&OP Consensus process; assist with JBP partnerships and manage P&L impacts.Translate marketing investment impact into forecast and planning inputs by channel and segment with the BIG LT.Develop a point-of-view on Price Pack Architecture (PPA) and execute market plans; evolve pricing and promotional strategy to balance channel conflict with topline and profitability goals.Drive growth in key VMS segments by optimizing customer strategies, distribution, and promotional effectiveness.Partner with VMS Category Strategy and Brand Strategy teams on innovation and commercialization, including cost modeling with Finance.Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, insights-driven team and foster a collaborative culture.Act as an active member of the sales leadership team and contribute to the evolution of the WBC sales organization and talent management.Capabilities & Skills Required10-15 years of experience in CPG Sales with success in sales planning, customer development, trade planning, and trade marketing.Inclusive leader with strong communication, team development skills, and 5-10 years of people leadership experience.Proven ability to collaborate with all levels of leadership and functions across key customers.Entrepreneurial, tenacious, dependable, and innovative with cross-functional influence.Ability to deliver results and influence across the organization.Experience across all trade channels (Grocery, Drug, Mass, Club, Natural, Specialty, E-Commerce).Robust analytical skills with P&L experience and cross-functional leadership in challenging environments.Strong storytelling to translate data into actionable insights and cohesive plans.Ability to build consensus, solve problems, and drive execution; strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.Passion for transformational brand building and customer-focused growth.Ability to turn information into insights for growth and act as a team player across functions.Thought leadership that inspires change and adds value to the organization.The DetailsLOCATION: San Francisco, CA — in-office presence required on Tuesdays.
