What are we looking for?
The Senior Sales Representative - Remote supports the Electrical business by direct sales activity including increasing existing sales and identifying and developing new business opportunities for Information Technology and Industrial product testing and certification within an assigned territory/accounts. We're looking for somebody who is self-sufficient with an entrepreneurial approach in their work.
This position will spend at least 50% of the time outside of the office visiting clients, attending trade shows, etc. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

The salary range for this position is $90K - $110K. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.When working with Intertek, our Sales Representatives are offered a base salary plus monthly commission eligibility based on sales goals.

What you'll do:
- Sell Intertek's services within assigned vertical, account and territory through effective client research, prospecting and networking.
- Meet with current and prospective customers via client presentations and participation at trade shows.
- Meet order and revenue quotas on a monthly basis.
- Write and follow up on proposals, specify appropriate standards and pricing; Follow through on sales transactions to ensure a superior customer experience for every project.
- Meet all activity targets and log activity in to iConnect, as required.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts, as required.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
- Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats.
- Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties.
- Must be customer focused and quality driven.
- Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years successful direct sales experience.
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
- Must be energized and self-motivated and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities.
- Physical dexterity/mobility to travel via car, airplane and to perform all clerical functions inherent to the position.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States. Applicants will be required to complete an I-9 to verify their eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Business to business sales experience
- Experience in Information Technology and Industrial markets
- Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification (ATIC) experience
- Experience with CRM tools (MS Dynamics / SalesForce / other)
