Enphase Energy is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Strategic Sales Manager to drive the Enphase EV charging solutions, including bidirectional capable of V2G, V2H, and green charging. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with tier one suppliers to automotive manufacturers or direct experience working for an OEM. You will report to the Senior Sales Director for North American Strategic Sales. In this role, you will lead the relationship with the auto OEMs while working closely with the Enphase cross-functional team to promote Enphase EV charging solutions, as well as solar and energy storage systems.
What you will do:
Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive OEMs by understanding their needs and aligning with Enphase energy storage solutions
Represent the voice of the customer with Product Line Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of bidirectional products and energy storage systems into automotive customer ecosystems.
Keep current with industry trends, market changes, and competitor actions to spot new business opportunities
Offer technical expertise and support to customers during the sales process to ensure high customer satisfaction
Prepare and deliver consultative sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
Create and execute six-quarter forecasts and report on the status of sales opportunities
Who you are and what you bring:
Successful track record of sales to automotive OEMs or procurement within an automotive OEM
Deep knowledge of automotive manufacturing, supply chain dynamics, and OEM priorities
Proven ability to gain a price premium through consultative selling
Possesses a minimum of 7 years of experience with automotive OEMs
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Solar and energy storage experience is preferred but not required
Technical background or experience preferred
20%-50% travel
The OTE for this position is $87,000 to $151,200 per year. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
