About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President, Sales to lead business development efforts in the Midwest region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a small team and refining client engagement strategies to expand access to private markets for financial intermediaries. This includes optimizing territory alignment, sales cycles, and strategic partnerships. The role also involves a consultative approach to growing advisor relationships, enhancing platform adoption, and introducing new fund managers and strategies. The SVP will be expected to travel within the territory to engage with financial advisors and clients and must maintain a deep knowledge of a broad suite of private market offerings.
Applicants for the SVP, Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in a sales role within the alternative investments space, with a proven track record in distributing a wide range of alternative investment products. A background in selling alternative products is essential, as is the possession of active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses or the ability to obtain them within 60 days. A CAIA designation is preferred, or the willingness to pursue one. The ideal candidate will be adept at client engagement, have a strong understanding of private markets, and be capable of leading a team to achieve business development goals.
