Symmetrio is seeking a Software Sales Executive for its client, a multinational medical device company. We are looking for a results-driven sales leader with extensive experience in enterprise software sales, particularly within healthcare systems, oncology centers, and hospital networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing high-value deals and fostering long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare industry.
This position covers the Southeastern , offering a competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE) package of $230K–$240K, with an anticipated travel commitment of approximately 40%.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans targeting hospital systems and cancer centers to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
Build, nurture, and expand strategic relationships with executives, clinical leaders, and decision-makers within healthcare organizations.
Lead the entire sales process from lead generation and qualification through contract negotiation and closure, often with multi-year agreements.
Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Work closely with product management, marketing, and technical teams to align offerings with market needs and ensure successful implementations.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to executive leadership.
Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines in the healthcare space.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of software sales experience, with at least 5 years selling enterprise solutions to healthcare providers, hospital systems, or oncology centers.
Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales quotas and managing complex sales cycles with high-value contracts.
Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, regulatory environments, and the challenges faced by clinical and administrative leaders.
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
Familiarity with software solutions related to medical imaging, oncology treatment planning, or clinical data management is highly preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time to meet clients and attend industry events.
