Join Our Team as a Sr. Associate, ADL Platform Operations at KPMG US KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate, ADL Platform Operations to join our Digital Nexus technology team. This hybrid role involves working with our Lakehouse Platform and related technologies. Responsibilities: Develop a strong understanding of the Lakehouse Platform, including its architecture and capabilities, and collaborate across departments to optimize workflows. Assist in implementing new technologies, tools, or processes to improve platform efficiency. Provide onboarding and training for platform tools, share best practices, and lead or support projects to ensure their success. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards, and identify operational efficiencies. Maintain proficiency in tools such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Python, Apache Spark, SQL, and ETL processes. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data operations within Azure and Databricks ecosystems. Qualifications: At least three years of recent experience with Azure cloud technologies, especially Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and Data Lake Storage. Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure or Databricks are a plus. Proficiency in Python, Apache Spark, SQL, ETL, data governance, and incremental data processing. Experience evaluating governance and security aspects of Databricks, including permissions and RBAC. Ability to work with databases, data management solutions, and familiarity with Power BI, SDLC, DevOps, and IT infrastructure is advantageous. Strong communication, problem-solving, presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
