The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for leading and managing day-to-day operations within the Southeast territory , specifically Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Georgia, N. & S. Carolina for Frontgrade products and capabilities . This role also plays a key part in promoting the full breadth of Frontgrade capabilities . The RSM directly manages Field Application Engineers (FAEs) and local Authorized Sales Advisors to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, achievement of annual sales targets, and delivery of exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Management Team Participation Serve as a senior leader contributing to both short- and long-term business planning. Actively participate in weekly staff meetings, monthly budget/business reviews, and other strategic sessions. Collaborate cross-functionally with the Value Stream Product Manager, Executive Director of Sales, and Business Development Managers on planning and execution. Sales Planning & Forecasting In coordination with the Director of Sales and Product Line Managers, develop and execute annual bookings and design-in plans. Monitor performance against targets, and provide regular reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and as needed). Submit daily Major Opportunity Reports via SFDC (Salesforce), and prepare monthly Bookings Guidance View and Short-Term Forecasts . Sales Team Leadership Lead and participate in semi-annual sales meetings. Manage and assess FAE activity on a bi-monthly basis. Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development for FAEs. Oversee travel planning, review customer meeting reports, and ensure alignment with regional sales strategy. Intermediary Oversight (Advisors & Resellers) Define requirements, hire, evaluate, and manage the performance of intermediaries. Negotiate commission structures and manage agreements. Conduct bi-monthly opportunity reviews, ensuring accurate and current SFDC data. Develop and implement intermediary strategies and adjust agreements as needed.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum five (5) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. 6) years of experience in people management. Bachelors degree required in Business, Commerce, Engineering or related discipline. (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. (3) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree. Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law. Pay Range: $146,900 - $187,200 annually . Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
