Position SummaryThe Senior Sales Executive – Service and Preventative Maintenance will play a key role in expanding our commercial service footprint. This individual contributor role is ideal for a hunter-type sales professional with a proven ability to generate new business in the HVAC and MEP industries. Based out of our North Salem, NY office, this position will cover Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, and Fairfield Counties. The right candidate brings local market knowledge, strong existing relationships, and a track record of exceeding sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Drive new business by securing commercial HVAC service agreements, service repairs, and small project opportunities.
- Proactively prospect and develop new client relationships while expanding business with existing customers.
- Represent Air Professional Associates’ HVAC maintenance and service offerings with confidence and technical credibility.
- Deliver customer-focused proposals and present solutions that align with client needs.
- Collaborate with internal service and project teams to ensure smooth transitions from sale to execution.
- Manage all leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity through Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Identify market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to guide sales strategy.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales KPIs and revenue goals.
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in HVAC, MEP, or related commercial service industries.
- Strong knowledge of the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, and Fairfield County markets.
- Demonstrated hunter mentality with a proven ability to win new contracts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operations and service teams.
